Technique development course
This course is designed to help sharpen your dance and technique, and improve your confidence social dancing. The course will Focus on area such as correct weight shifting, effective leading and following, body alignment, spinning technique and rhythm and musicality. Each element will be discussed and practiced in great detail. This course is six weeks long with each class one hour in length.

Shines/footwork course
Open to both men and women all level of dancers. This shines course teaches students to dance freestyle without a partner. Each week students are taught a short shines (footwork) sequence that we build on week by week and can be used on the dance floor when separated from your partner. This class will improve your, posture, balance coordination, speed and weight transfer. Body movement rhythm and musicality will also be covered.This course is six weeks long with each class one hour in length.

Enrolment Thursday 6th January 2011 – 6:30pm -7:15pm at Plaistow Park community centre E13

1. Enrolment take place at the venue tomorrow between 6:60 pm- 7:15pm. We start classes promptly at 7:30pm
2. Please note we can only accept cash, please help us by bringing the right amount with you.
3. Places are limited and are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

2. Student Register and tickets

Before the start of each course please see Jenny or Pam to sign in and collect your ticket to hand in before the start of each class. If you are taking two courses please sign in twice ( before 7:30 and at 8:30) on two separate registers.

3. What’s the price?
Book both courses and Save £’s £45 for 1 course 2 courses £72
(Both course must be booked on the same day & we can only accept cash at the venue)

Drop in price
For student who want to take one or two classes the drop in price is £10 per person for 1 lesson and £15 per person for 2 lessons on the same night.

4. Student assessment.
At the end of the course each student will receive written feedback, and individual advice on technique for further Salsa dance development. (please note this only applies to students that have signed up for the course, not for drop in students).

5. Students will be able to take their Bronze medal test
The test cost £25 per student

Dust off your dance shoes This Wednesday’s session is designed to ‘Shift turkey and remove Christmas pudding’. Packed full of high energy salsa moves to get your body, mind and soul ready for the year ahead! So, come ready to dance, to keep fit and have fun. The lessons before the night’s social dancing will get you in the swing of things. So hurry, invite your family and friends and come and have some SalsaNation fun!
